Please note that because the plant is located in a coastal area, the product has a slightly higher moisture content, but still falls within the required specifications.
Customers may sometimes load damp product, but permission must first be provided by email. Send the request to info@kalkor.co.za.
Please include only the loading number in the email subject line together with the wording – Permission to Load – or send a WhatsApp message to 079 764 9738.
The source will only load RBXXXX numbers. No other reference number will be accepted or loaded.
Following assessment, Richards Bay will not load 10 m³ / 10 ton tipper trucks, only side-tipper trucks. This is to prevent product leakage.
PLEASE NOTE: Only 34 ton side-tipper trucks may be loaded at the source.
PLEASE ALWAYS CONFIRM LOADING TIMES WITH THE OFFICE, ESPECIALLY DURING PEAK SEASON, ON FRIDAYS AND AT MONTH-END. THESE TIMES ARE ONLY AN INDICATION OF THE NORMAL HOURS DURING WHICH THE SOURCES USUALLY LOAD, BUT THEY MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME. UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO UPDATE OUR WEBSITE EVERY DAY.
The loading of products at all sources is subject to strict rules and regulations. If you do not comply with these requirements, you will not be permitted to load. Safety is of the utmost importance. If you are unsure, please contact our office to confirm.

- Warning triangles
- Fire extinguishers
- Wheel chocks
Drivers Must Wear the Following PPE
- Safety shoes
- Earmuffs / earplugs
- Protective clothing
- Dust mask
- Hard hat
